Since TopNotch Productions was established in 2001, they have set many records never achieved at GHS. The following are a list of all the records that TopNotch made.
 
  • TopNotch Productions was the first production team even invented at GHS.

  • TopNotch was the first to debut an original feature length movie. The Turkey Video.
  • TopNotch Production was the first to have three of their members' productions win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in a county contest. Orange Drink, Awkward Moments of Love, Ryan Conklin's Chat Corner. 2002.
  • TopNotch Production was the first to have three of their member's productions win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes in a county contest, twice. Sadie Hawkins, Girl's Volleyball, The Kidnappers. 2003.
  • TopNotch was the first to air Public Service Announcements. P.S.A. on Littering September 2002.
  • TopNotch has made the most Public Service Announcements. 9 and counting.
  • TopNotch was the first to make a cartoon. Peanuts P.S.A January 2003.
  • TopNotch has the most Go-Flex shows under their belt than any other production team. 6 Go-Flex's. 14 counting Gettysburg Idol.
  • TopNotch was the first to make a music video. Sadie Hawkins Dance
  • TopNotch was the first production team to have one of their members appear in a Hollywood Motion Picture (Ryan A. Conklin - "Gods & Generals")
  • TopNotch has made the most productions than all the production teams productions combined.
  • TopNotch has aired the most productions from one production team.
  • TopNotch made the longest movie in GHS history. A Small Town Horror - 25 minutes long.
  • TopNotch made the longest mini-seriers in GHS history. Gettysburg Idol Series - 4 hours and 30 minutes long.
  • TopNotch was the first to have reaccuring characters. Chat Corner Ryan

  • TopNotch has the record for the longest Go-Flex show ever. 34 minutes long, not including the logo.
  • TopNotch was the first to make a silent film. The Kidnappers, January 2003.
  • TopNotch was the first production team to completely overdub a voice. Megan in A Small Town Horror and Megan in Morning Announcements in January, overdubbed by Ryan.
  • TopNotch parodied the most material such as movies, music, tv, and pictures.
  • TopNotch was the first to air commercials. Coffe Cup Sponsor. November 2002.
  • TopNotch was the first to utilize the blue screen in productions. Morning Announcements - December 2001.
  • TopNotch was the first to air intermissions on Go-Flex. January 2002.
  • TopNotch was the first to form a production team slogan. "We top ourselves. One notch at a time."
  • TopNotch was the first production team to raise the bar. November 2001.
  • TopNotch was the first production team to have an article about them in the school newspaper. March 2002.
  • TopNotch was the first to have a professional artist in Maryland draw a logo for their team. Greg Trax. His drawing is on the Home page.

  • TopNotch was the first to have one of their productions reach State Finals Contest. The Kidnappers in the 2003 PA State Computer Fair.
  • TopNotch was the first to film a movie outside of school in different towns other then Gettysburg. Cashtown, Ortanna, McKnightstown, McSherrystown, Hanover.
  • TopNotch was the first to air the first Go-Flex kiss. The Kidnappers. January 2003.
  • TopNotch utilized the most students in one production. Gettysburg Idol. Assembly Final. The entire school!
  • TopNotch was the first to air a mini-series production. Gettysburg Idol. February - June 2003.
  • TopNotch was the first to have students interact in a production. Gettysburg Idol. February 2003.
  • TopNotch was the first production team to appear in a local newspaper. Gettysburg Times June 2003.

  • TopNotch has the record for having the most "was the first to"s in GHS history. 42.

In other words, TopNotch Productions was the best ever. Maybe someday, the members will reunite for a show, like when there all 65 years old, like that reunion show of the Brady Bunch, and when they did that on the Dick Van Dyke Show. You never know!
